Matterlurgy is a collaboration between London based artists Helena Hunter and Mark Peter Wright. Their interests reside in the discreet entanglements of technologies, humans and nonhumans and how such relations are co-constructed and performed. Working across installation, performance and sound their work has been presented at: ICA, The Showroom, Arts Catalyst, V22, Ambika P3, The Silver Building, (London), Frontiers in Retreat, HIAP (Helsinki), mima (Middlesbrough), Bòlit Contemporary Art Centre (Girona). Their installation work Beneath the Signal and Noise is currently on display as part of 'mima collections' (10 March - 23 June 2018). Throughout 2018 Matterlurgy are working on a new project called Begin with Noticing, part of the Centre for Geohumanities 'Creating Earth Futures' Commissions.
